PBB crowd open the border in Gaza

JERUSALEM - Security Council of the United Nations (UN) request Israel to end the pemblokrian Gaza Strip border. Dalam pernyataannya, PBB menilai tindakan Israel tersebut tak dapat diterima. In his statement, the UN assesses the actions of Israel is not acceptable.
"This only makes the people in Gaza suffering civilians. This should be immediately disudahi," said John Holmes the UN representative in the official statement cited by Reuters, Saturday (22/11/2008).

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of Israel through the phone on Tuesday, that he is very concerned about the humanitarian conditions in Gaza Strip. Bam ask Olmert to open the border and allow food aid into Gaza.

A day later, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak rejected the request Bush. He stated, there must be tranquility to open the border. This action related to the rocket attacks that Hamas fighter get to the area south of Israel.
